SEPA flag RHSIt’s the year of Year of Food and Drink in Scotland, and at the Royal Highland Show 2015, we are going introduce you to how Scotland’s natural assets produce quality, home-grown produce.

Brought to you by Scotland’s Environmental and Rural Services agencies (SEARS), a visit to our tent on fourth avenue between 18 – 21 June will show how the quality and variety in soils links to high quality food and drink which supports Scotland’s diverse habitats and species. Activities over the course of the weekend include:

  • Scotland’s superb natural larder with cooking demonstrations chef Mark Heirs
  • children’s storyteller Mrs Mash will be taking the “wee ones” on a magical storytelling trip
  • displays on peatland restoration, forestry and wildlife crime.

Also available on the day will be the SEARS Stand newsletter and a special edition of SEPA View, both including stories and features on food, drink and soil in Scotland.
